Belmont Works

A Grade A locally listed red brick and terracotta Victorian factory built at the end of the 19th century, Belmont Works has, in its time, served as the headquarters of the Eccles Rubber and Cycle Company and, from the 1960s, the Co-operative Society had offices there. Now begins an exciting new chapter in the building's history, with 21,248 sq ft (net) arranged over lower ground, ground, first and second floors.

The building was let to BCU in May 2016 for management offices and named the Joseph Priestley Building.

The ground floor has been dedicated to business start-ups, whilst a shop will be accessible by resident students, businesses and the wider local community.
